Winter Break is over now. It was really an adventure. In the course of one month I went snowboarding, snowshoeing, studied for Uni and took an exam, said goodbye to my old friends, and said hello to all my new friends. Oh and I almost forgot, I got a concussion with lots of doctors bills. So I exercised physically, emotionally, socially and financially all in 4 weeks. But now it is time to start new classes, while still taking exams for the old ones. It is still a very weird concept for me- taking an exam two months after I finished the class. I can even retake it if I want. Much more flexibility and freedom here, but that isn’t good for someone who is use to a lot of structure and deadlines.
I am taking a class this term in Deutsch! I am excited and I love translating. The lectures have given me the notes in English and Deutsch for I can follow along easier. I love sitting in class listening and translating. The subject is Nacherntetechnologie (Post Harvest Technology) So I will learn about harvest methods, insects and preservation methods. AUFGEREGT!
