End of semester struggles.
Everything is more than perfect here. I live in a massive apartment filled with four wonderful roommates. The food has yet to disappoint. The weather is perfect, sunny with low humidity and a slight breeze, just right for an ice-cream in an outdoor café. I have an abundance of friends both Hungarian locals and exchange students from Europe. My finals are almost over and it looks as though I’ll pass all of my classes with little to no trouble. Life is grand.
But recently I have been craving my family and home. I crave face-to-face conversations with my parents. I crave our inside jokes with my siblings. I crave the comforts of my culture.
Knowing that I’m just one week away from seeing my sister makes perfect days like today hard.
