Check number 4 off the top ten list. I have officially completed visiting a village in Hungary!

This past weekend I traveled with my friend Marta who lives in a village about 1 hour outside of Debrecen, Hungary. On Friday we visited both sets of her grandparents, ate traditional Hungarian foods and watched movies on HBO. Saturday we took a roadtrip to Debrecen and visited the Déri Museum where the paintings of a famous Hungarian artist, Mihály Munkácsy, are located. (breathtaking!) Then on Sunday we toured her village and then caught our 4 hours bus back to Szeged.
