A couple day ago several study abroad students and I went to cheer on the Szeged basketball team. I was impressed with the fan turnout, especially since basketball ranks low in popularity behind handball and water polo this sports season. Szeged took quite a beating 51-76, but I have confidence we’ll be back next game! Btw- How are the ‘EERS doing?

Who knew we had a celebrity with us? Nora was interviewed by a local tv station about her thoughts on the game. Nora took the questions with laughter because it was her first Szeged game ever.

This is borderline inappropriate, sorry WVU, but I want to include my friends on the inside jokes. At the game this couple (guy and girl) were sitting in front of us and constantly making out. We were taking bets on how long they have been dating. “I bet they just met today!” “No couple I know would ever be that close if they dated for a long time.” “I bet he just proposed.” “Are they kissing for every point we make?”

By the end of the game I had to snap a discrete picture to remember how much we were laughing about how this couple couldn’t stop kissing.
