I was checking my e-mail at the library and struck up a conversation with Frezsia, a local Hungarian student who studied abroad in England last semester. “I know how you feel.”

Her pity opened up the doors of opportunity to seek help. I started playing 21 questions with her. “Oh I am so glad you understand what I am going through. Say, would you mind helping me?” (1 down 20 to go)

I asked her questions ranging from what time does the library open to what website do we use to sign up for classes. She was so helpful and invited me to her Business Communication class the following day with local students AND a professor who teaches in English.
