Teddy Hospital

Rebecca | February 18th, 2008 at 11:45 am

My roommate Eszti just graduated from medical school and is currently doing her last round of residency. She recently undertook the responsibility to organize a Teddy Hospital at a Cora (a huge department store similar to WalMart in the States). The purpose of the project is for kids to bring in a teddy bear that is “sick” and needs medical help. When the kids bring the stuffed animals in, they are given a physical and operated on if needed. The hope is that the kids won’t be as scared next time they go to the hospital.

My friends and I decided to show our support. Below are pictures.

Elena (from Italy) and Nora showing her X-Ray of her Teddy Bear. Sad faces.

My roommate?s puppy was treated for double vision

(Note to WVU med school: this would be a great idea!)
