Szeged 101
The University of Szeged is located in Szeged, Hungary.
The town of Szeged is quite stunning. Check out this website for pictures: http://www.bibl.u-szeged.hu/szeged/today.html
My school semester runs from February 4th- June 27th with a weeklong spring break; any ideas on where to go? Right now I’m scoping out Russia to visit another WVU study abroad student, John Pino, in Moscow. Fingers are crossed!
My orientation starts on January 29th. I can’t wait to meet the other exchange students. Here is an e-mail I sent them recently:
Greetings from West Virginia, USA!
My name is Becky Lovell and I’m one of the many study abroad students this semester at Uni. Of Szeged for the Spring ‘08 term. I’m writing in hopes we can get to know each other before orientation rolls around in a couple weeks. I’ve started a facebook group, Szeged Exchange ‘08, please join! Also, feel free to “reply all” and introduce yourself! I can’t wait to meet each of you!
Montani Semper Liberi,
Becky Lovell
So far I’ve received about 10 replies back and +12 on our facebook group. Most of the exchange students seem to be from other European countries. So far, I’m the only American.
