Fun days!!

Yesterday I helped out with the aquatics in the BUGS section of the zoo. Then later I helped put together the afternoon meal for the Tamarin monkeys. It was pretty interesting. After work we went to Oxford Circus where the cheapest shopping in London is. It was insanely busy!! Then today we all took a tour of the Tower of London. The tour guides are called Beefeaters. Ours was quite sassy and sarcastic. It was very cool there. There were so many beheadings and torturings that occurred at the tower by many of the most familiar kings. We went to the torture tower and also the house of jewels (the royal jewels are sooo impressive). Then all of us who are working at the zoo took a trip to the Royal Veterinary School to look around and meet some people. Finally at the end of the night I went to Trafalgar square to see the opening ceremony of Le Tour de France. It was packed there and somehow I managed to get to the front of the barrier gate right where the bikers were riding through to get the stage to be introduced. I got to see most of the teams (including the Discovery Channel team). The Disc. Channel team made a comment that Lance Armstrong would be there supporting them. So that was my last two days! Oh and I am a huge fan of treacle pudding and bread & butter pudding now!
