Bio: Sean Dougherty
I am Sean Dougherty and I am a junior, working on a double-major in Forest Resource Management and Wildlife/Fisheries Management. My favorite topics are silviculture and big game ecology. I am from Petersburg, West Virginia, Grant County.
I am really into hunting and fishing. It could be considered to be my religion, but that may be a little extreme but very near the truth. I also enjoy many other outdoor activities including camping and hiking.
I am going to Ireland for spring break 2007 along with a Dr. Kate Piatek and a few other classmates to explore forestry on a global scale. Irish forests have been nearly extinct for hundreds of years, and now the general consensus is for the people of Ireland to plant trees to begin the re-growth of their forests.
