West Virginia University

Bio: Adam Pellillo

A salaam aleikum! I am Adam Pellillo and I’m a senior Economics and Political Science major at WVU. I hail from White Hall, West Virginia, which is just outside the city of Fairmont. I’ll be studying Arabic, French, economic development, international finance, and Islamic civilization this fall at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco.

My sister, Alex, just returned from Santander, Spain, and she’ll be studying in Mexico after I come home from Morocco. Hence, we won’t see each other for quite some time. I hope that this blog is a good way to keep in touch with everyone, including my girlfriend, family, friends, professors, Adventure WV folks, and whoever else reads of my adventures abroad. Feel free to leave a comment or shoot me an email.

As far as my life is concerned, I am quite involved with the Adventure
WV
program, which is an orientation course for incoming freshmen. I spent the summer leading those programs and working on trip logistics during the off weeks, as well as studying European politics in Strasbourg, France, enjoying the great outdoors and catching up on foreign policy and adventure travel books.

I am now off to the great continent of Africa! Check out all of my posts here.
